Remote mounted control head, S/S mounting bracket, Mettler-Toledo Safelines Throat and Gravity Fall metal detection systems benefit from a unique patented technology, which enables Mettler-Toledo Safeline to offer the very highest performance in the most restricted of spaces, whilst operating in close proximity to fixed and moving metal structures. A Mettler-Toledo Safeline Throat metal detector can require as little as 200 mm of vertical installation space between a multi-head weigher and the forming tube or throat of a vertical form, fill and seal machine. On detection of contaminants the metal detector signals the packaging machine to stop, make a double bag or alternatively operate a synchronised automatic reject device positioned further down the line.
