VF series vacuum fillers greatly improve product quality by gently transporting sausage mixture and larger pieces of meat, such as ham or poultry, by means of a vane cell pump, and filling under vacuum. Vacuum filling removes the risk of air pockets, and retains product color and consistency. It also reduces fat oxidization and bacterial action, and avoids proteolysis - the breaking down of proteins into simpler compounds.
