They Are Primarily Used Where One Or More Machines Are To Be Fed By One Pump And Where Some Piping With Elbows Is Not Detrimental To Product Integrity. The Low Hopper Height Is Useful In Areas With Low Ceilings, And For Fitting Under Special Oversized Hoppers.( Loeb Has Hydraulic Units Available If You Do Not Have A Central System ) Adding Vacuum Pistons Aids The Loading Of Product Into The Reciprocating Sleeves Which, As They Open, Pull Product Into The Vacated Area (Which May Also Be Filled From Above By The Ribbon Auger Hopper). During This Loading And The Subsequent Sleeve Closing, The Air Is Withdraw By Vacuum From Around All The Particles Through Openings In The Piston Fac These Openings Close As The Piston Moves Forward Into The Precompressed Position Ready For Stuffing.
