Can also handle random product length for uninterrupted operation. The SHANKLIN Shrink Tunnel tailors the velocity and temperature of the air to favor the wrapping film. Large quantities of heated turbulent air are cascaded into direct contact with the package at velocities as high as 3,000 feet per minute. The air is hot enough to effect excellent uniform shrink, but is not so hot as to melt the wrapping film. This air circulates over 50 times per minute past a temperature controller sensing element that maintains uniform temperature throughout the tunnel, eliminating hot spots.
