Simplex model AS1 Volumetric bench mount piston filler with S/S hopper. Piston Cylinder 1 7/8 in dia x 7 in total Length. Fill range from 3.0 to 8.8 fl oz using a minimum 2in stroke and maximum 5.8125in stroke. Hopper measures 23in diameter and 20in deep, hole at bottom is 2 3/16in diameter. Top hole in block measures 3in OD and 2 3/4in ID. Single Phase, 120 Volt. This single head table-top machine is compact and durable and recognized as a world standard for liquid, semi-solid and/or soft particulate filling. The Simplex table model AS-1 is a simple and accurate filling machine which can merge with an automated conveyor system with the addition of a Simplex floor stand and automation kit. Any manual AS-1 can be upgraded to be fully automatic. Quickly and easily cleaned, the AS-1 is also very reliable. Some AS-1s have been in continuous operation for over 40 years. Economical and versatile, all contact points are constructed of USDA approved materials, making it useful for many products and operations.
